Beautifully written. It felt like a sweet melody. And it brought some bitter-sweet memories. When I broke off my engagement a few years back because I could not say like the Australian woman, “I don’t want to change anything in him.” And I did tell him that he would meet someone who would accept all of him as he is. He got engaged last year and you know, all’s well, that ends well. It’s beautiful when both parties are on the same page but you know, forever is too serious and important for us to have people on a leash!
